Junkers F13 at Bulolo. The crowd are seeing one of the locals off on leave. They flew from Bulolo to Lae and caught a ship to Australia via either Rabaul or Port Moresby.
Junkers W34 (F13 on floats) VH-UNM on the crane at Lae. This was the first aircraft to bring the mail to New Guinea. Here it belonged to Carpenters which was one of Guinea Airways competitors.
